Joanne Renee Bouwer

Joanne Renee Bouwer, age 62, of Caledonia, passed away following a recent  auto accident and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 25, 2020. She is joined in heaven by her daughter, Rebecca Lynn; a sister, Kathy (Dan) Tighe; parents, Thalia Eads and Keith Strong; father in law, Jacobus Bouwer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Will Bouwer Sr; sons, Will Bouwer II and Jake (Maria) Bouwer; grandchildren, Logan Bouwer, Matthew Bouwer, Eli, Makenzie, Sixto; siblings, Deb (Doug) Horn, Sharon (Don) Straight, David (Barb) Strong; step parents, Al, Cindy and Carol Strong; mother in law, Hendrika Bouwer; brother and sisters in law, Tony (Dottie) Bouwer, Wilma (Jerry) Hamstra, Elizabeth (Rod) Marsman, Ida (Brian) Duggan. Joanne spent her life serving others, also serving as past secretary of CMA for many years. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Green Lake Calvary Church, 608 - 145th Ave., Caledonia with Dr. Dan Farnol officiating.  Burial at Lakeside Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm @ Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St. SE, Caledonia and on Saturday from 10-11 am at the church prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Christian Motorcyclist Association - Run For the Son, Chapter 72.
