Joanne Mary Carpenter found rest in our Lord Jesus and went home to Him very early on Saturday, December 1, 2018. She was 89 years young. Many of her family have already left us, including her husband of 52 years, Bill; her mother, Helen; father, Harold; brother, Harold; and many extended family and friends. She is missed by her daughters, Nancy Carpenter and Ruth Stevenson; granddaughter, Sara Stevenson (and her husband, Alex Hazlewood); grandson, David Stevenson (and his wife, Jessica Staszkiewicz); dear, dear sister-in-law, Buddy Carpenter; and precious friends, Kathy Glovick and Pam and Jay Boylan. The family is respecting Joanne’s clear and consistent wishes that there be no services of any kind, that cremation take place, and that she simply be remembered with love and prayer.
