Joanne Johns

Joanne Johns, age 90, of Jenison passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 11, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Maxfield. Joanne was a member of the Grandville United Methodist Church. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her son, Brian Johns; her daughter, Nancy Johns and Dan Johnson; grandchildren, Derek Maxfield and Susan Walters, Drew and Sharon Maxfield, Craig Maxfield, Brenda and Steve Abbamonte, Amy and Matt Humphrey, Brian Jr. and Yolanda Johns, Michael and Leah Johns; great grandchildren, Lilia, Gabriel, Lizzy, Wynter, Kade, Keshawn, A.J., Ethan, Joshua, Jace, Myka, Levi. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Grandville United Methodist Church, 3140 Wilson Avenue SW, with Rev. Ryan Wieland officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Jenison High School Thespians Booster Group, BRAVO.
