Joanne Johns, age 90, of Jenison passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 11, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Maxfield. Joanne was a member of the Grandville United Methodist Church. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her son, Brian Johns; her daughter, Nancy Johns and Dan Johnson; grandchildren, Derek Maxfield and Susan Walters, Drew and Sharon Maxfield, Craig Maxfield, Brenda and Steve Abbamonte, Amy and Matt Humphrey, Brian Jr. and Yolanda Johns, Michael and Leah Johns; great grandchildren, Lilia, Gabriel, Lizzy, Wynter, Kade, Keshawn, A.J., Ethan, Joshua, Jace, Myka, Levi. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Grandville United Methodist Church, 3140 Wilson Avenue SW, with Rev. Ryan Wieland officiating.
