Joan VerLee

Joan M. VerLee, aged 90 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin M. VerLee; parents, Ray York and A. Ethelyn King. Left to cherish her memory are her children, David (Mary) VerLee, Dennis (Laura) VerLee, Doug (Pat) VerLee and Jill VerLee; grandchildren, Dr. Sarah (Dr. Andrew Brandt) VerLee, Zachary (Gina) VerLee, Andrew VerLee, Rachael (Aaron) Henricks, Angie (Tom) Messina, Michael VerLee, Jason (Heather) VerLee, Stephanie Green, Jenny Palmer; great grandchildren, Ulla Brandt, Axel Brandt, Matthew VerLee, Ava Messina; stepsisters, Rosie (Joe), Judy; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on 11:00AM Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Oakhill Church, 1930 Leonard St. NE, Grand Rapids. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 5PM to 7PM at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont, and one hour prior the service at church.
