Joan Sandra Peterson (Beal), aged 79 of Wyoming, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Hoag; parents, Clarence and Dorothy Beal; father and mother in law, George and Mary Peterson; sister, Genevieve Egbert. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dave; son, Chip Peterson; granddaughter, Stephanie Hoag; brother in law, Robert and Ellen Peterson; and several nieces. Joan was known for her honesty, loving nature, and sense of humor. Her favorite slogan was “Go Blue !” A time of gathering and celebrating Joan’s life will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming.
