Joan M. Earl

Joan M. Earl, age 86, of Grandville, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer A. “Diz” Earl.  She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Barbara and Terry Bebee; niece, Linda and Robert Doyle; nephew, Tim and Lori Bebee; great nieces, Cori, April, Megan, and Rachael; dear friend of many years, Vera Morris.  Joan retired from Fountain Street Church after 30 years of service and continued to volunteer for many more. She will be remembered for her great love of life and laughter. She also had a great passion for the arts. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Fred Wooden officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
