BROOKHOUSE - Mrs. Joan B. Brookhouse aged 78 passed away peacefully Saturday, November 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Otilla Jewell; sister, Evelyn Jewell; brother, Maunce Jewell. Surviving are her loving husband, Wes; her sons, Patrick Thar and Mark Thar; grandchildren, Megan Eliot, David Thar, Kenneth Thar; sisters, Maxine (Jake) Paschal, Mickey Fillwock; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Grand Rapids First Church - Prayer Chapel, 2100 - 44th St. SW. Her family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Crystal Springs Cemetery, Benton Harbor. Memorial contributions may be made to help offset expenses.
