Joan Beemer

Joan Beemer, age 71, of Wyoming, peacefully reunited with the love of her life on Thursday, March 9, 2023. She was a loving, kind, caring, quietly supportive and generous woman. She enjoyed cooking and sharing with others. She was also an avid U of M fan “Go Blue!” Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel P. Beemer; parents, Walter and Agnes Mikula, Clayton and Helen Beemer. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Dan (Ann) Beemer, David (sig. other, Mandi) Beemer, Marc (Holly) Beemer; grandchildren: Alec, Ashlyn, Emma, Elizabeth, Brock, Abigail and Briella Beemer; brothers and sisters, Walter (Brenda) Mikula, Gloria (Walt) Brunner, Brian (Toni) Mikula, Denise (Jerry) Coy; many nieces and nephews, cousins and special friend, Shannon Mekkes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 13, 2023 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, March 12, from 4-6 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Kids Food Basket.
