LAURA - James "Jim" R. Laura aged 50 passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018. Surviving are his wife, Paula; children, Ashley and Ryan; mother, Susanne Bachman; father, Gary (Eileen) Laura; mother-in-law, Ellen Chouinard; grandparents, James and Florence Ritchie; brothers, Tim (Trish) Laura, Mike (Louise) Moore; sisters, Mary Sue (Elliot) Enciso, Lynn (Jeff) Miller; brother-in-law, Gregg (Dodie) Chouinard; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his; father-in-law, Jerry Chouinard; stepfather, Bob Bachman. Jim was the former owner and operator of an independent Insurance Agency. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Assumption of BVM Church, 6369 Belmont Ave. NE. His family will greet relatives and friends from 5 to 7PM Monday, January 29 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel - Belmont, 1601 Post Dr. NE., and one hour prior to Mass at Church on Tuesday.
