Jerry V. Haines

Jerry V Haines, aged 80 of Caledonia, MI, (formerly of  Metropolis, IL) went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Geraldine Harris; sister, Margaret Thomure;  brother, Bob Harris. She is survived by her husband, Billy J. Haines; daughter, Daphne and Joe Stearns; grandchildren, Sean Stearns, Ali and Jayson Bussa, Samuel Stearns, Anna Stearns, Steven Stearns; a  great-granddaughter, Berklee; great grandsons, Whitaker and Watson; brothers, Bill and Delorse Harris; sister, Carla and Terry Huffman; brothers-in-law, Howard Thomure, Donil Haines, James and Sonja Haines, Dennis and Fran Haines; sisters in law, Janet and David Croney, Cheryl Harris; many nieces and nephews and cousins. Jerry was known to be a great friend, a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. The family will receive relatives and friends  at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St, Caledonia, MI on Wednesday from 3- 4 pm with funeral services at 4 pm.  There will also be visitation and funeral services at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna, IL; on Saturday September 9th, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm with funeral services at 4:30 pm.  Interment in Cypress Cemetery in Cypress, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
