Dearest Carol and Kids, We were shocked to hear that Jerry had left us. Spike will miss the camaraderie of a Marine buddy and all the reminiscing about sports and pleasant rivalry ribbing. I'll miss teasing him about his tough as nails way. We'll remember him with the utmost respect and as the man with more integrity than any other we've ever known. And our admiration for his talent borders on jealousy. God Bless you all and we're looking forward to dancing with you both in heaven. They are probably still celebrating his arrival. Jerry McGill was a gift from God, truly unique. We will always miss him and have many happy memories of spending time with you both. The McGillicuddy family is truly one of a kind and it is special, thanks to you, Carol, and Jerry. We're thankful to be friends to you all. Our hearts hurt for the huge hole now in your lives. We're praying for peace and comfort during this trying time. Love to you all, we're going to miss him, too. Still looking for more elephant surprises. Bill & Sal

Mike and family, Please except my deepest condolences for the loss. Your dad was a great guy. He was one of the hardest working men that I ever met. I know he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. The Spartan Nation lost a true fan.

Carol and Family, My deepest sympathy to you in the passing of a dear husband and father. I am daughter of Kimball St neighbors, Henry and Anna Schripsema, and I remember a very young family at that time. I remember Jerry being out with the kids a lot. I assume he enjoyed all those grandkids too. May you feel God's presence in the days to come. Fondly, Jo Schripsema Hulst

Dear McGillicuddy Family, please except my deepest condolences for the loss of your loved one Jerry. May Jehovah, the God of all comfort, (2Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort you in this time of sorrow. May you find comfort in His word that gives us hope that one day there will be no more sickness (Isaiah 33:24) and that there will be no more pain and death. (Revelations 21:3,4) We will also be able to see our loved ones that are asleep in death again by means of the resurrection that Jesus spoke about at John 5:28,29, and all those in Jehovah's memory will live forever in peace, on earth. (Psalms 37:29) If you would like to learn more about the wonderful hope and blessings found in God's word the bible, please visit jw.or and may the peace of God that excels all thoughts, guard your very souls
