Jerry Cummings

CUMMINGS - Mr. Jerry "Mack" Cummings, aged 56 of Greenville, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 6, 2011at his home under the loving care of his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Ruth Bevill, Arthur and Maxine Huffman. Surviving are his companion and best friend, Lisa Cummings; children, Jerry Cummings III, Christian Cummings, Kyle Cummings, Victor Cummings, Stefanie Cummings, Ryan Cole, Corey Cole, Kalee Cole; father, Jerry (Roselyn) Cummings; mother. Sandra (Kevin O'Neil) Phillips; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Cummings, Ragina Welder; several nieces and nephews. Jerry was a member of Resurrection Life Church in Grandville. He also was proud to have been a member of the Musicians Union. He will be remembered for his love of music and playing with many local bands as their drummer. Jerry worked for Yamaha music for over 19 years here in Grand Rapids. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions by be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
