Jerry Bosch

Jerry “June” Allen Bosch, age 69, of Allendale, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a brief illness on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Jerry was a kind and loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He had a huge heart and was always there to help anyone in need. Jerry retired from Grand Valley State University after 32 years of faithful service working in the maintenance department. Over the years, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching and attending NASCAR races, and most of all spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Trena Bosch; and sister, Barbara Nyenbrink. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Jim Gugle; two grandchildren, Anna and Lauren; siblings, Darlene and Gary Norby, Debbra and Scott Oros, Steve and Heidi Bosch; many loving nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, at 1 p.m. at Spring Valley Church, 5947 Lake Michigan Dr., Allendale, with Rev. Rob Wondergem officiating. The burial will take place at Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from noon-1 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Corewell Health Hospice and Palliative Care or the American Cancer Society.
