IMPELLIZZERI - Jennie Impellizzeri age 86 passed away Friday, September 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent P. Impellizzeri; brothers Joseph (Joyce) Palazzolo, Chuck (Grace) Palazzolo, Vincent (Sally) Palazzolo, Marino (Irene) Palazzolo; sister Mary (Lester) Woodward. She is survived by her children, Beatrice Werkema, Anthony (Wendy) Impellizzeri, Mary Jo (Donald) Krieger, Louise (David) Barks, Linda (Robbin) Stevenson, Annette (Ronald) Covington, Julie (Jim) Sjaarda; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, Angelo (Doris) Palazzolo, Anthony (Bonnie) Palazzolo, Nick (Linda) Palazzolo; in-laws, John (Mary) Impellizzeri, Marie (Keith) Woodrum. Jennie loved spending time with family, grand-children and has a close relationship with great grand-children. Jennie was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church where she was a tireless worker at the spaghetti dinners, a mercy lunch volunteer, and a successful ticket seller to help raise funds for the parish. Jennie and her husband are known for conducting the Grand March at many weddings. Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 AM, Monday, September 18, 2017 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 101 Hall Street SE, Grand Rapids. Her family will greet relatives and friends 5 to 8 pm Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., Wyoming and one hour prior to the service at the church.
