Jeffrey Mark Peigler

Jeffrey “Jeff” Peigler, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Ralph Peigler, and his siblings, Bruce and Pam Peigler.

He is survived by his loving sister, Lynne Wilson (Gerald); his daughters, Pam Lawson (Peigler) and Crystal Troll; his son-in-law, Matt Lawson; and his nephews, Ryan, Ben, and Jordan Wilson along with extended family and friends who will deeply miss him.

Jeff was known for his happy-go-lucky spirit and the joy he brought to those around him. He had a deep love for music and could often be found playing his guitar, not just for himself, but for others—sharing moments that brought people together and created lasting memories.

A devoted Catholic and believer in Christ, Jeff’s faith was an important part of his life and guided his appreciation for love, family, and connection.

He had a passion for food, especially making homemade pizza, always finding ways to turn simple meals into something special. Jeff also loved to travel, with one of his favorite memories being a trip to Italy in 2019—a place that captured his appreciation for good food, music, and life’s beauty.

He enjoyed live music, movies, and time spent with those he loved. Above all, Jeff will be remembered for his easygoing nature, his love of connection, and the way he made others feel at home in his presence.  His love, laughter, and music will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026  at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier officiating.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family before the service from 12-2 pm.

A memorial service will also be held in Fort Madison, Iowa at a later date to celebrate his life.
