Jeffrey Dale Boersema, age 51, of Allendale, went to be with his Lord after a short battle with cancer on Sunday, November 27, 2016. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Carol (Wolfert) Vanderschuur; father, Irwin and Marianne Boersema; brothers and sisters, Michelle and Kevin Crossman, Lynnel and Terry Prins, Gregg Boersema, Brett Boersema; nieces and nephews, Derik Crossman, Cody and Ashley Crossman, Lynissa and Mike Kramer, Shayla and Tim Bassett (and Reid), Shane Prins, Kelsey and Seth Frymire, Logan and Paige Prins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Pastor Steve Demers officiating. Interment Rusk Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.

Our sincere sympathy to the Boersema Family. Jeff was a great son, brother and uncle and he will be missed by many including his GVSU family, too.
