Jeanette Barber

Jeanette Barber, age 89, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Nancy Bierema, Ruth Smith, Carla and Samuel Pearson; grandchildren, Matthew and Jenni Bierema, Lisa Bierema, Jeana and Daryl Baiter, Angela Smith, Sam II and Nicki Pearson, Paul and Emily Pearson, David and Monique Pearson, Anna and Chad Huizinga; 17 great grandchildren; sister and brothers, Johanna Turner, Henry and Henrietta Toonstra, Ed and Marilyn Toonstra, Arnie and Thea Toonstra; sister-in-law, Ruthe Toonstra; brothers-in-law, Homer Barber, Ed Barber. A private graveside service will be held at Grandville Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Friday 11 am at Seventh Reformed Church Chapel, 950 Leonard St. NW, Grand Rapids, with Dr. Tim J.R. Trumper officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Christian Rest Home and Seventh Reformed Church.
