Jean Lois Heileman

Jean Lois Heileman, age 84, of Jenison, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, February 27, 2017.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that treasured her family. Jean was blessed with the gift of cooking and baking, always having a delicious meal or treat for her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors, spending time in her beautiful flowers and working in her gardens. Jean worked at Creme Curl Bakery where she was a faithful employee for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Norman; grandson, Douglas Troy Van Dyke and infant grandson, Jason Richard. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Norman Heileman, Jr. (Paula), Chris and Tom Van Dyke, Vicki and Kirk Lawton, Paul and Lori Heileman, Matt Heileman, Melissa Heileman; grandchildren, Craig and Michelle Van Dyke, Jen and Ben Dykstra, Josh Stonto (Ashley), Ashley and Ty Holst, Sheila Heileman, Lindsey and Alex Hanes, Paul James Heileman, Brett and Chelsea Lubben; six great grandchildren; sister and brothers, Bonnie LaVelle, Dale and Joanne Larabel, Bill Larabel; sister-in-law, Marilyn Heileman; nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 2 at 11:30 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin St., Jenison.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, March 1 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW where a vigil will be held at 8 pm. The family will also greet relatives and friends 1 hour prior to the service at church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Joseph’s Indian School.
