For the short time I knew Jean at New Amsterdam Village I enjoyed seeing her, helping her, having her in the coffee and treat time with the other women. She was a very sweet God-loving woman. She'll be missed.

My condolences go out to the Spencer's and Leasure's family. Growing up my grandparents, friends spent many days with the Leasure's. Getting together for a cup of coffee, dinners, church functions, or a at home bible study. Jean will be sadly missed. PJ Hammond

I knew Jim Leasure when we were both students at GRSM and, if I remember correctly, we both graduated in '70. Got to know Jean when they retired & started attending Grandville Baptist Church. She always made sure to say "hi' & was very friendly, as was Jim..

Jean Leasure and her late husband Jim were dear friends to my late wife, Donna and I. Our friendship spans nearly 60 years beginning at Evansville, Indiana. We took many vacations together and shared in many Bible Conferences. Pastor Leasure loved people and spent his life serving His Lord. Jean was a faithful, hard working pastor's wife who served the Lord faithfully by her husband. Their faith has been passed on to their wonderful family. Sue and Rob, Mike and Deb and their children and grandchildren must now carry the torch of faith, the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ into the darkness of a lost and dying world! To God be the glory for faithful ministry of the Leasure family!

— Dr. Robert J. Barnett
