Jean Leasure

Jean Mary Leasure, age 94, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Jean was a pastor’s wife, serving alongside her husband at Lakewood Baptist Church for 6 years, in Lake Odessa and then 20 years at Lake Baptist Church, Lake, Michigan. She loved to play board games and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Leasure; son, Mark Leasure. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Susan and Robert Spencer, Michael and Debra Leasure; grandchildren: Jeff (Angela) Spencer, Jennifer (Joe) Lesausky, Kristin (Adam Kaufman) Spencer, Kelsie and Keaton Hagadus, Brenton (Emily) Leasure, Justin (Elise) Leasure, Katilyn (J.D.) Dyer, and Austin Leasure; great-grandchildren: Megan, Noelle, Kaylee, Julia, Justin Michael, Amos, Finley, Willow. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Grandville Baptist Church, 4325 40th St. SW, Grandville, with Pastor Ken Gentzler officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, April 15, from 4-7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville.
