Jay “Butch” Nicholson

Jay H. Nicholson Jr., age 58, of Caledonia, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, surrounded by his family.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen; granddaughter, Elizabeth; brother-in-law, John Huyck.  Jay will be greatly missed by his wife of 38 years, Sherry; daughters: April Dunkelberger, Tiffany (Kevin) Webster, Becky (Kiley) Webster; 17 grandchildren; father, Jay Nicholson Sr.; sisters: Joy Huyck, Judy Berman, Julie Eastman; many nieces and nephews.  The Mass of Catholic Burial will be held 11 am Saturday at Most Holy Rosary Church, 310 E. Main St., Middleville, with Rev. John Trough, celebrant.  The family will receive relatives and friends at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Caledonia), 616 E. Main St. on Friday from 4:30-6:30 pm with a Rosary Service at 6:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Most Holy Rosary Church.
