Janice Luurtsema

Janice Mae Luurtsema, age 80, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2021. She graduated from Zeeland High School and Ferris State University. Janice went on to work at Spectrum Butterworth for 40 years until she retired. She was a member of Wyoming Park United Methodist Church, The Lion’s Club, and The Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Gertrude (Bosch) Luurtsema. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Bruce and Carla Masselink. Janice expressed her joy and thanks for her continued care from her dear cousins, Shirley and Alvin Meiste, Lisa Pence, Joan and Dick Medemar, Brenda Essenburg and Brenda's son, Steve Essenburg. The family also wishes to express their sincere thanks to Debbie and Arnie Werkema for all they have done for Janice over the years. A memorial service will be held at a later date. A private family graveside service was held at Zeeland Cemetery on Friday, December 10. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Wyoming Park United Methodist Church or The Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
