Janette Dorothy Ensing, age 87, of Hudsonville was received into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Janette was known to be a godly woman who was sweet, caring, and a good and faithful servant. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Vernon. Janette will be lovingly remembered by her children and her much loved grandchildren, Judy and Larry Schipper (Joel Schipper, Jason and Lilli Schipper), Nancy and Cal Top (Rebecca and Jason Rittenhouse, Craig and Rebekah Top, Rachael and Brian Clutter), Sally Klamer (Stephanie and Ryan Myers, Jennifer and Jed Schildroth); six great grandchildren; sisters, Martha Anderson, Arlene and Al Van Popering; brother, Sidney and Sue Lynema; brother-in-law, Elmer Vruggink; sister-in-law, Karen Ensing; many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Zutphen Christian Reformed Church, 3223 40th Avenue, Hudsonville, with Rev. Joshua VanDrunen officiating. Interment Zutphen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, April 30, from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive SW.
