Janet Weill

Janet (Jan) M. Weill Weill, Janet M., of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 73, died following a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, April 29, 2016. Survived by daughter, Jennifer Richardson, Kevin Richardson (son in law) and grandson Gabriel. Born to Brian Hill and Margaret Mainwaring Hill in Neath Borough, Glamorgan, Wales, Jan was educated in boarding schools in Calcutta and Switzerland. She lived and worked in London and Boston and moved to Michigan in the late 1990s. Her friends and family from all over the world remember fondly her kindness and sharp wit. Jan was an avid, enthusiastic reader, and library patron. Memorial contributions may be made to the Laura Bush Foundation for America's Libraries. Details for a celebration of life are pending.
