Janet Victory

Janet Victory, age 89, of Jenison, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, January 5, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude.  She was a wonderful mother and friend to her children, Ron Victory, Bonnie and Dan Thornell, Jan and Charlie Walcott, Rick Victory, Vickie and Bob Prantle, Jodi and Dave Barrett; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Buys; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lois Armstrong, Vern and Sharon Victory, Carol Mielke, Nora Victory; and several nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Fair Haven Church, 2900 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Rev. Harvey Heneveld officiating.  Interment will be held at Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Fair Haven Church Missions.  The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to her caregiver Carmen Planpen, the staff at Waterford Rehab and Faith Hospice for the wonderful care given to Janet.
