Janet Mae Dalley

Janet Mae Dalley, age 86, of Caledonia, has gone home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Jan enjoyed volunteering her time and gifts for the Clarksville Bible Church missionaries, the prison Pen Pals ministry and cooking meals for Degage. She will be remembered for her home cooking and her generous and giving heart. Her family was most important to her, and she cherished spending time with her many grandchildren. Jan and her husband, Bart were members of Green Lake Calvary Church and Clarksville Bible Church. She will be greatly missed for her fun-loving personality, her love of people and love of life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Ruth Teater; siblings, Ella Jackson, George Teater, Pauline (Lou) Takens, Chet Teater; brother-in-law, Ray Hawkins. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bart and grandson, Barton who resided with them. She is also survived by her children, Linda (Doug) Vickers, Brian (Tina) Dalley, Kelley (Bill) Fleischman, Todd (Angela) Dalley, Susan (Bruce) Roede, Mary (Mark) Alderink; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Gert Hawkins; sisters-in-law, Cindy Teater and Carole Teater; brothers-in-law, Danny Dalley and Larry Jackson, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, October 6, 2023 at Clarksville Bible Church,191 S. Main St. Clarksville. Burial will be held at Lakeside Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5:30 to 8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St. SE, Caledonia and on Friday from 10 to11 am at church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Clarksville Bible Church.
