Janet Lee Morgan

Janet Lee Morgan, age 85, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Dearborn, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; parents, Lewis and Esther Schroder of Rossford, Ohio. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Michael and Jennifer Morgan, David and Joy Morgan; grandchildren, Benjamin Pestovic, Andrew Morgan, Spencer Morgan, Sarah Morgan; extended family and friends. While she was living in Dearborn she was an active member at First Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and Madrigals and loved the social group, Mariners. She was a talented piano player, who liked classical music, and played piano whenever she could. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas when she would find unique and special gifts, would bake cookies, and spend time with her family. Nobody was a stranger to Janet and she didn’t need to have an excuse to have a good conversation. Her favorite place was the family cottage on Lake Leelanau and creating many wonderful memories there as a family. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
