Janet Bok

Janet Bok passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017, five days before her 95th birthday.  Her husband of 69 years, Leonard Bok, preceded her in death.  She is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Louis) Schaeding: son, Raymond Bok; grandchildren, Kelly (Mike) Berent, Jeff (Brenda) Schaeding, Karri (Tony) Robertson, Michelle (Manny) Ludwig, Mark Bok; great grandchildren, Chris, Corbin and Cody Berent, Chloe and Owen Schaeding, Taylor, Keegan and Ty Robertson, Jennifer and Paige Ludwig; great-great grandchildren, Ridge and Brooklyn Berent; sister-in-law and best friend, Gody Bok; sisters-in-law, Katherine Bok, Meta Bok; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Mary Kay Bok; brother, John (Opal) Schouwink; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.  Funeral services will be held on Monday 12 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Fr. Patrick Grile officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10 am to 12 noon at the funeral home prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of one’s choice.
