My Mom was a great Mom, and one of my best friends. We did a lot together. Our favorite things to do was to go shopping, and go out to lunch. Mom was always a happy smiling women who loved to laugh and have a good time. She loved her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren she loved Christmas and to give gifts to the kids. Mom loved to be with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all of us. Love you Mom!

My grandma was the best. She was such a healthy women and very strong one too. My parents and I were eating dinner once we had the call that she had a mild heart attack. We were worried for her. After a few hours or so went by I went to bed soundly not thinking much of anything since we recently just lost our dog sweetie, which was already heartbreaking news. It was about 11:50 once my mom walked in to tell me the news. She said "this might be a bad dream to you but Grandma is dead" I didn't even cry at first because I was in so much shock. I honestly still am. My grandma dying was the last thing on my mind to ever happen. After about five minutes or so hugging my mother it hit. The memory's flew by my head like a nuke. Everything hit me at once. Seeing her hugging me hearing her "bushel and a peck" and I'll say "A hug around the neck!" To hearing her funny laugh to just going out to dinner with her, and even more. My grandma to me was the best thing ever. I loved our sleepovers all the time! Racing who could get their PJs on the fastest (I always won unless she cheated by holding me back.) Or waking up to her cooking. She always asked every time I stayed the night if I wanted my favorite sandwich. And yes that was what it was called the favorite sandwich, because I swear that was the only thing I asked for when I stayed the night. My favorite sandwich was toast, peanut butter, honey, and bananas. And I tell you what she made it perfect everytime. This women always had a smile on her face no matter how her day was going she was going to love you no matter what was going on. I have to say I'm very thankful for my sister Meghan La Fave and my brother Joshua Murphy. Our grandma was able to be there for you guys for your 18th, to graduation to going to college or just doing so well for your job, to getting married and having your first kids to your last. Her great grandchildren are very lucky that they got to meet such a great grandmother. I wish she could be there for all of this for me too but at least I know she was there for you two. I know shes going to be watching over all of us. And honestly probably complaining when us girls cut our hair because she wants our hair instead. I hope she's having a great time up in heaven, seeing her family and seeing her family that's still down here waiting to see her again. We love you grandma, don't ever forget that. We will be missing you so much. I love you ❤️ "Bushel and a peck" "A hug around the neck"

My grandma and I were very close and shared many beautiful memories. We used to have pajama races down the hallway to our bedrooms to see who could get them on the fastest and boy did she beat me many of times. She'd even push me back to cheat. We used to stay up late together and watch shows like Unsolved Mysteries, Fact or Fiction or Touched by an Angel. We used to go to her church carnival every year and be the first ones on the dance floor in the beer tent and dance the night away. I was her Pumpkin Pie and every time we said goodbye she'd hug me tight and say, "A bushel and a peck," and I'd respond with, "and a hug around the neck!" She loved to pull at my long hair and insisted that I give her some and hated it when I chopped it every year. I loved everything about my grandma. Her strength, her faith in the Lord, her love for everyone, her laugh, her smile, how she always smelled so good, her jokes and her good squeezing hugs. Our son, William, really loved his "GiGi" and her name was one of the first names he could say and would say it often. She will forever be missed and loved. Love you grams. A bushel and a peck...
