James W. Bullard Jr., age 94, of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Hathaway Hills Assisted Living. He married June in 1973 and together they operated Bullard Tax Service in Carson City for 15 years, retiring in 1987. Together they enjoyed going to auctions and yard sales. He was a passionate collector of glass and coins. Jim had a great reputation for his talents in gardening, especially with hibiscus and mums.  He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.  Jim proudly served his country during WWII in the Navy.  He always had his eye out for the big bargains and loved getting a big bang for his buck. James was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, June; son, Randy Bullard; stepdaughter, Patti Lipps; and granddaughter, Dawn Bosma.  He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Ron (Laura) Bullard; daughter, Judy Rosenow; stepchildren, Cheryl Nelson, Pete (Cindy) VanBeelen; stepson-in-law, Gary Lipps; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Hurst Funeral Home, 1801 W. Washington St., Greenville, MI 48838.  Interment will be held at Carson City Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, October 21, from 6-8 p.m. at Hurst Funeral Home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.
