James Rich

RICH - Mr. James Rich, aged 71, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord after years with heart disease. Surviving are his wife, Maryann of 45 years; their children, Joseph (Lisha) Rich, Maryann (Jeff) Duby; grandchildren, Joseph Rich (Alexis), Amanda Duby (Andrew), Angela Duby, Kyle Duby and Tyler Duby; great grandson, Lukas James Duby-DenHof; brothers and sisters, John Rich, Ethel (Bob) Thebo, Shirley Lawton, Barbara Herring, Robert Rich, Betty Rich, Mary Jane Storey, Joanne (Barry) Lipscomb, Carol (Jim) Morehouse, Judy (Larry) Bennet; special family member, Tracie who graciously gave the gift of life to Maryann and nephew Tom Rich; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Rich; and brothers, William and Joseph Rich. James worked for many years at Corduroy Rubber before retiring from Steelcase after 8 years of service. Funeral services and Military Honors will be held 1:00PM Saturday at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE., with Rev. Mike C. Fedewa officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends Friday from 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
