OOM - James L. Oom aged 83 passed away Friday July 1, 2016. James is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Susan; sons, Jeff (Ann) Oom and Tim (Barb) Oom; grandchildren Benjamin (Brittany), Aaron, Alexandra and Faith Oom. He retired from American Seating Company after 30 years of service where he served as President of the Foundry. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, July 10, 2016 at North Park Presbyterian Church, 500 N Park St. NE Grand Rapids, MI 49525. His family will greet family and friends one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Park Presbyterian church memorial fund.
