James Kenneth Hatfield

James Kenneth Hatfield (Kenny), of Scotts, Michigan, passed away on February 29, 2020.

Unfortunately, memorial will be scheduled at a later date due to the pandemic.

Kenny was born in Kalamazoo to Kenneth and Jane Hatfield on June 21, 1959. He went to school in Comstock. He married Vera Hatfield on May 22, 2010 in Kalamazoo. Kenny’s passions included hunting and nature. He was an avid Harley Davison rider, and was happiest surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Jennifer.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Vera Hatfield; his children, Garrett, Heather, Dustin, Mary, and Taylor. Kenny is also survived by seven grandchildren, Megan Mattison, A’lexis, Gavin, Damian, Dillan, and Olivia, who he adored. Kenny especially enjoyed eating special meals and snacks prepared for him by the grandchildren.
