In honor of Mr. Kaiser. I met Mr. Kaiser in 10th grade (1986) I had taken the basic electronics class. I so appreciated Mr Kaiser's style of teaching, it fit my own style of learning perfectly. I was thriving under Mr. Kaiser's tutelage, and I had a passion for computers, so I signed up for the Computer Design and Repair course in the 11th grade. By that time, our relationship was blossoming, and Mr Kaiser granted me extra attention. Mr Kaiser shared more of his personal world with me, and we became friends ( as much as a teacher and student can, I suppose ). I was introduced to T'ai Chi by Mr. Kaiser. At one point Mr Kaiser offered me a demonstration in his private office ( I was asked to keep it between us, and I respected Mr. Kaiser's wishes). I will tell the story now to honor Mr. Kaiser. A blindfold was placed securely around Mr Kaiser's head, totally obscuring the ability to see with physical eyes. I was then asked to attack. To be honest, I felt silly at first, and was merely reaching out to touch Mr. Kaiser. Every attempt was blocked and I began to feel amazed at what was happening. I then began to attack with enhanced speed and power. Everything that was thrown at Mr. Kaiser was blocked. The memory is firmly in my brain as though it just happened. I realized right then, that Mr Kaiser was not about arrogance or pride ( hence the request to keep the demonstration between us ). I believe that Mr. Kaiser was attempting to guide me into the unseen forces in this world that are at play. Another fond memory was that my vehicle had a bad ecm( electronic control module ). Mr Kaiser had utilized "energy" to get my car started. I do not believe in coincidence, and I firmly believe that Mr. Kaiser's experience with energy is exactly what helped my vehicle to start. Mr Kaiser placed his hands on the steering wheel and was silently concentrating, then I was instructed to " try it now ". The car immediately started and I was on my way home. By this time, it was 12th grade for me. I continued to study under Mr. Kaiser's guidance. He offered me a position of a student teacher for the 1st year students of computer design and repair, while moving forward with my own advanced studies. I was also offered independent study of Lasers and light technology. At this point, my 6 period schedule of my senior year included 3 periods with Mr. Kaiser. I felt as though I wasnt even in High school, it felt what I thought college would feel like. To say the least, I thoroughly enjoyed my senior year and had hope for the future. Around this same time, PK Technologies was in its infancy. Mr Kaiser offered me a part time position with the organization. I was truly honored. The education that I received by graduation easily surpassed what a 2 year degree at colleges would have offered. What an amazing jumpstart to life I was offered. Mr Kaiser offered so much to me. I am so grateful for having been given the opportunity to spend time with Mr. Kaiser. I truly believe that some of my positive perspectives in life was instilled by this amazing man. From the day we first met him, Jim was a beacon of hope. His kindness spilled over as he was always willing to share his skill set to further our health and wellness. Today my son Jericho and I are grieving the loss of a friend - Jim has been such a great help and mentor to both of us. He is, and ever will be, a dear friend. A quote I read recently is, “Sorrow shared is half-sorrow. Pleasure shared is double pleasure.” I keenly feel this today as I just found out about Jim’s passing. I’m thrilled for him to be reunited with Donna and sad for us to have him leave. We’ll sure miss him and his influence in our lives. We love you, Jim Kaiser!
