James “Jim” L. Miner

James “Jim” L. Miner, age 74 of Wyoming, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Leona Miner. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 41 years, Carol; children, Tamara (Jim) Jarosch, Jill Reynolds; grandchildren, Michael, Holly, Barry, Alexis; great-grandchildren, Macey and Ezra; his siblings, John “Jack” (Evelyn) Miner, Joan (Lowell) Henline, Janet (Don Wosinski) Miner; brothers-in-law, James (Judy) Pryor, Thomas (Kathy) Pryor, John (Sue) Chandler; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1pm, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Chaplain Madelyn Thompson officiating. The family will meet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday 12-1pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.

Carol. I just wanted you to know, even though it was soooo many years ago, I was always happy to see Jim pull up when I was over playing with Jill. He ALWAYS made me laugh and feel comfortable. I wish so badly that I went inside to see him at Barry's graduation party, of course never knowing that I'd never see him again. We think we all have the time to do that again, yet we should know better. I am SO sorry for your loss and I'll be thinking of you, Jill, and Tammy.
