James “Jim” Huberts

James “Jim” Warren Huberts, age 82, of Jenison, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 5, 2021. He was a faithful servant of God, beloved husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by his wife of 61 years, Betty; his children and grandchildren, James and Mary Huberts (Tatjcha and Jared Lambers, Tarryn Huberts, Ellie and Matt Sytsma, Laura Huberts, Lianna Huberts, Karrie Huberts, Annah Huberts), Gary C. Huberts (Morgan and Brandon Brink), Amy and Paul Boice (Taylor and Janna Boice, Brennan and Anna Boice), Kathy and Dan Dykstra (Keegan Dykstra, Mason Dykstra); four great-grandchildren; brothers, Harvey and Loretta Huberts, Kenneth and Karen Huberts; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Angie and Joel Blauwkamp; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Don Van Slyke officiating. The burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mississippi Christian Family Services or Faith Hospice.
