ELLIOTT - Mr. James E. Elliott, aged 78, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Elliott; wife, Nora; grandson, Anthony Smith; three sisters. Surviving are his children, Roger (Marilou) Elliott, Joyce (Rex) Stalhood, Jim (Pat) Elliott, Mark (Tonia) Elliott, Tim (Kathy) Smith, Joanne Boyden; mother of his children, Darlene Elliott; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Reda Donaker; brothers, Jerry Elliott, Merle Elliott; sister, Lois. He was the owner and operator of Jim's Auto Repair in Grandville, a member of West Michigan Bluegrass Music Association and his band "Country Cousins". Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 17 at Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. The family will greet relatives and friends Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
