James Bommelje

James “Jimmy” Frederick Bommelje, age 76, of Allendale, went to be his Lord on Friday, October 6, 2023 after a long illness with Parkinson’s. He was preceded in death by parents, Bill and Arlene; and sister, Nancy. Jimmy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Dolores; daughter, Shannon and Brian DeJongh; grandchildren, Tyler, Blaine, Ciara, and Lance; extended family and friends. Jimmy owned and operated Tepper Nursery for many years. He was a season ticket holder at Berlin Raceway and enjoyed NASCAR. He was a great family man and he will be missed by everyone who knew him. The family wishes to thank the staff of both Mission Point of Lamont and Hospice of North Ottawa for their love and care shown to Jimmy and his family. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mission Point of Lamont or Hospice of North Ottawa.
