BLACK - James Waland Black Sr. "Jim" , age 72, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ed, Robert, Charles, Bill, Rufus "Sonny"; sisters, Florance "Sissy" and Evelyn "Dee". Jim is survived by his children, Barbara Black, James Waland Black Jr., Rose Black; son-in-law, Jeyvon Fiveash; grandchildren, Rufeeshia, Alvonte, Asja, River, Brook, Brandon, Raimee, Brailee; great grandchildren, Presley, Zoey, Ariel, Aria; sisters, Kitty (Don) Fletcher, Mary Kievit, Dolly Black, Jamie Black, Patricia Kay Black. Jim will be known and remembered for his love of family especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as hunting and fishing. A Celebration of Life will take place Friday, August 2, 2019 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM in the meeting room at Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North, 350 Dodge Street, Comstock Park, Michigan 49321.
