James Anton

ANTON - James M. Anton aged 65 passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 after a courageous fight against cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, William Anton. Surviving are his wife, Marianne; children, Kelly Anton, Chad Anton and Becky Mckellar; grandchildren, Skylar, Ayden and Jaden; his mother, Mary Anton; brothers, Pat (Sharon) Anton, Chuck (Denise) Antonopolus; several nieces and nephews. James was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Marine Corp. He retired after 40 years of service with the Post Office, was an avid runner and loved hunting. A memorial service will be held 1:00PM Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE. His family will greet relatives and friends Sunday from 6 to 8PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
