Remembering James A. Hewitt
James Alvin Hewitt, age 80, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully and was reunited with his wife on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Terry. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Christine; and his sisters. James proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was very passionate about technology and ham radio and loved to travel around the world. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Interment will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Paws With A Cause.
