Jacqueline Mae Lloyd

Jacqueline Mae Lloyd, age 80, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Glenn; and parents Neil and Irene Ophof. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Shirley VanderWilt; nieces, Bonnie (Ken) Kennedy, Mary VanderWilt; brother-in-law, Bruce (Kim) Savoie and their daughter, Katy; stepson, Ken (Cam) Lloyd; and several step-grandchildren and a special step-grandson, David (Trish) Lewis. Jackie was a valued employee of Butterworth Hospital, Dr. Ophoff’s Dental Office, and Rogers Department Store. She loved nature, and she and Glenn did a lot of camping throughout Michigan. Jackie enjoyed listening to country and gospel music. Her faith, church, and church friends meant so much to her. The family would like to thank the staff of Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods for their loving care and support of Jackie. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Steve Geerling presiding. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday from 9-10 am at the church prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, St. John Vianney Educational Foundation, or to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.

I have been friends with your sister, Jackie, for a few years now. We often gotten together on a weekly basis with our other friend Mary Pelton and all of us got to be quite close. Mary and I have a special place in our hearts for Jackie, will miss her terribly and are very grateful that we had the opportunity to become friends with such a grace filled, loving woman. Our prayer go out to you and your family.
