GRUSS - Mrs. Jacqueline Gruss aged 95 passed away Monday, November 16, 2015. Jacqueline will be remembered most for her love and dedication for her children and grandchildren. She was passionate about spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; daughter, Mary Lynn Colson; grandsons, Keith Dykstra and Jason Spears; sons-in-law, Robert Dykstra, Larry Martin and Lee Bunker; brother, Bill (Eileen) Hickey; sisters, Mary Jane MacIntosh, Donna (Patrick) Popma; brothers-in-law, Roy Baker, Bud (Marie) Gruss, Rollen Gruss, Peter (Martha) Gruss and sister-in-law, Bernice Gruss. Surviving are her children, Carol (Bob) Phelps, Nancy (Duane) Spears, Judy (Dan) Scanlon, Susan (David) Votruba, Debra (Doug) Gummere, Tim (Dawn) Gruss, Patricia (Keith) Davey, Ann (John) Nickels; son-in-law, Mark (Beth) Colson; 27 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; sister, Therese Baker; brothers-in-law, Lee MacIntosh, Richard Gruss; sisters-in-law, Joan (Ron) Schumacher, Betty Gruss; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Friday, November 20, 2015 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. Her family will greet relatives and friends Thursday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM, at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., and one hour prior to Mass at church on Friday. Prayers of the rosary recited at 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral chapel. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
