CARL - Mrs. Jacqueline J. (nee Ferris)Carl aged 82 of Wyoming, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 Surrounded by her loving family. Jacqueline was born on November 26, 1930 to John and Alice Ferris in Grand Rapids, MI. They were married on January 29, 1949 and spent 64 loved filled years together. Jackie, dedicated her self to the children at both South and West Godwin Schools for 35 years, working on the playground and in the cafeteria. She was also a TOPPS member for over 30 years. Jackie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves behind her husband Calvin; children, Susan (Ken) Buikema, Doug (Eleanor) Carl, Kathy (Bruce) Hinkley, Sherry (Bill) Coburn, Teresa (Mike) Hinkley, Chris (Kim) Carl, Carleen (Kevin) Kribbet; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Dennis (Marge) Ferris, Gordy (Nadine) Ferris; sisters, Pat Krzykwa, Sandy VanderBand; sister-in-law, Sally Ferris; many nieces and nephews. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Ferris; two brothers, Don and Jerry Ferris. Her family will gather to remember the love she had for life and her family 1 PM Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. Visitation will take place 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday morning. Interment will take place at Kent Memorial Gardens.
