Jacob Timothy Morris

Morris, Jacob Timothy MORRIS –Jacob Timothy Morris, aged 12, of Caledonia, bravely went home to the waiting arms of our loving God and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 12, 2014. He is now rejoicing with our God and running, jumping, skipping and dancing joyfully with the heavenly angels. Jacob will be greatly missed by his parents, Tim and Tammy Morris; birth mother, Sara Johnston; sister, Hannah; grandparents, Al and Aggie Morris, Bill and Shirley Ramsey; birth grandma, Pam Johnston; uncles and aunts, Russ (Tracy) Morris, Mike (Karen) Morris, Toni (Ron) Alonzo and their families; and many dear friends and neighbors. Jacob graduated from Kettle Lake Elementary School and was currently in the sixth grade at Duncan Lake Middle School. He was inquisitive, fearless and loved exploring in nature. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE on Wednesday from 4-8 pm. A private burial will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park. A Celebration of Jacob’s Life will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 1675 – 84th St. SE, Caledonia. This is a casual event, so please come as you are. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to “Jacob’s Place” memorial fund.

Tim, Tammy, and Hannah - Words cannot express the flood of emotion that came over me when I learned of Jacob's home-going. Initial, intense sadness was quickly replaced with joy at the thought of Jacob exploring the glories of Heaven and seeing his Savior face to face.
