Jacob Broekema, Jr.

Jacob Broekema, Jr., age 81, of Jenison, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Sr. and Alice Broekema. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Beverly (VanHarn) Broekema; children, Sharon (Ray) Piper, Terry (fiancée, Sue Anderson) Broekema. Jacob was a charter member of Rosewood Reformed Church. He was the owner operator of Custom Tool and Die Service in Hudsonville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Howard Moths officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Salvation Army.

Sister Bev...Terry ...and Sharon...please know we will be with you in spirit tomorrow as you lay dad to rest....dad and I shared our goodbyes when we left for Florida...he said he would begin his heavenly home before we returned ...Gods plans are always right on time....Love and hugs to all of you...God Bless Aunt Joy and sis

Condolences to Jake's family from a South High 1953 classmate, Janet Thiel Nellett. Those of us who attended the Monday luncheons for many years enjoyed Jake's company. Gail Finton Zoromski and I regret that we will not be able to attend the services.
