Jack Stirdivant

Stirdivant, Jack 6/26/1952 - 7/30/2015 Kentwood Jack Allen Stirdivant of Kentwood, age 63 passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his home. Jack was born on June 26, 1952 in East Grand Rapids. He graduated from East Grand Rapids High School and obtained his BS in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1982. Ever the consummate salesman, Jack had a long career in sales that began in life insurance sales for Massachusetts Mutual. He was a wonderful father, always willing to spend time with Jack II and to turn the vicissitudes of life into a good anecdote or humorous story. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and K. Jean Stirdivant and his eldest brother, Scott. He is survived by his only son, Jack A. Stirdivant II and his mother, Jane Hofstra, brothers David (Helen) Stirdivant of Florida, Barry (Alice) Stirdivant of Grand Haven and his sister Amy Stirdivant of Florida, and their families.
