Jack James Oudbier, aged 83 of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017. Jack proudly served his country in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Johanna Oudbier; wife of 50 years, Carol; brother, John and Geraldine Bouwman; sister, Doris and Adrian Morren; sister-in-law, Francis Oudbier; nephew, Kevin Bouwman; and granddaughter, Katrina Marie Oudbier. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Benjamin Oudbier, Julie Roberts (Jeff Backowski), David Oudbier; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Edward Oudbier, Patricia and Allen Thayer; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
