Buning, Irma BUNING:  Irma (Aardema) Buning, age 87, passed into her Heavenly Home on Saturday, August 25, 2012.  She was preceded in death by husband Eugene "Bob" Buning; her son, Darwin Buning; sister, Esther Westmaas; step-sister, Edna Koetje; sister-in-law, Irene Aardema.  She will be dearly missed by daughter, Sandra (Erwin) Gruppen; daughter-in-law, Thelma Buning (Ken Sammuels); grandchildren, Craig and Michelle Gruppen, Shelly and Todd Burns, Nate and Rebecca Buning, Tyler Buning and Jessica Dufty; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Ron (Fran) Aardema, Carrol (Linda) Aardema; sisters, Lois VanHouten, Joyce Aardema; step sister, Bette (Emo) Winke; sisters-in-law, Audrey Ellens, Ruth Buning; many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 11 am on Wednesday at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 3110 Barrett SW, Grandville with Rev. Allen Bultman officiating.  Interment Kent Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Calvin Christian Debt Reduction Fund and Miles for Hope, Team Mitchell (in honor of her great grandson, Mitchell Buning).
