Ingrid Arlene Brown, age 60, of Jenison, unexpectedly went into the arms of her Heavenly Father, on Saturday, August 27, 2022. A 1980 graduate of Grandville High School, she met the love of her life, Scott, on a blind date and was proud to say that it was love at first sight. She cherished spending time with her family. Traveling was one of her passions. She enjoyed trips with her husband and family around the world, from along the ocean coasts, to plantations, Hawaii, and the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Ingrid was creative and enjoyed scrapbooking, painting, knitting, cross-stitching, and making diamond art. She will be greatly missed for her cooking, contagious laughter, and smile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Florence Haan, and parents-in-law, Richard and Marcia Brown. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Scott; children, Amanda Brown, Cameron Brown, Aubrey (Dominick) Tonnarini; and sister, Annette (Greg) Neumann. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 2-4 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
