Ignacio Melendez, age 43, of Wyoming, passed away suddenly on the morning of Monday, October 23, 2023. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lucy; children, Armando and Noe Melendez; mother, Maria Del Rosario; sisters and brother, Javier Melendez, Angelica Ortiz, Beatriz Ortiz, Alondra Ortiz; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Javier Melendez. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 27 at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, 50 Bellevue St. SW, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Steven Cron, Rev. Edwin Carreño, Rev. Luis Quintana presiding. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 9 - 11 a.m. at the church before services.
